How ClariFab handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us or apply to work with us.

1. Who controls your data

ClariFab, an international engineering team with its office in Stockholm, Sweden, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. Personal data we process

When you submit an inquiry, we may process your name, work email, company, telephone number, selected topic, message and the time of submission. If you apply for a role, we may also process professional information you choose to provide.

Our hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security events. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics may also process online identifiers and information about pages, interactions, approximate location, device and browser. We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal data through the website.

We do not sell personal data and do not use website inquiries for unrelated advertising without a separate lawful basis.

4. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers where necessary to host the website, operate WordPress, deliver email, maintain technical systems and—if you consent—measure website use. They may process data only for the relevant service and under appropriate contractual safeguards. Our current website is hosted by Hostinger, and Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics.

If a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we use an applicable legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, where required.

WhatsApp is a third-party service. Data is shared with WhatsApp only if you choose to open that link or contact us through the service; its own privacy terms then apply.

5. How long we keep data

General inquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Recruitment information is normally retained for up to 12 months after the process ends, unless a longer period is agreed or legally required. Contract, accounting and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.

We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed for the stated purpose.

6. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
