About ClariFab
One engineering team.
From physical process to useful information.
We design independent sensing, machine-vision and manufacturing-information systems around production equipment that companies already own.
Meet the disciplinesWho we are
ClariFab is an international multidisciplinary engineering company for the space between the machine and the decision.
Our team brings together engineers from different countries and technical backgrounds, with our office in Stockholm serving as the centre for collaboration and project delivery.
Our work begins where standard automation and software packages stop being useful. We instrument the real process, build the hardware required to observe it and turn the resulting evidence into tools that operators, engineers and managers can use.
The team covers software development, data processing, industrial electronics, sensing, machine vision, mechanical design in SolidWorks, enclosure and fixture design, hardware assembly, installation, system configuration and on-site commissioning.
Twelve people · One delivery team
Different disciplines meet around the same production problem.
We do not separate software from the physical reality it is meant to explain. Each project brings together only the skills required to deliver a working, maintainable result.
Software & data
Edge services, Python processing, databases, APIs, web applications, OEE logic, reporting and engineering analytics.
Electronics & sensing
Sensor selection, signal conditioning, power, interfaces, data acquisition and integration with industrial environments.
Mechanical design
SolidWorks design for enclosures, camera mounts, sensor fixtures, protective hardware and line-side installations.
Hardware assembly
Device building, wiring, enclosure assembly, bench testing, installation preparation and practical serviceability.
Integration & commissioning
Calibration, system configuration, production trials, acceptance testing, training and controlled handover.
How we work
Close to the process. Clear about the boundary.
ClariFab can add observation, context and carefully scoped automation without taking unnecessary control of an existing machine. Safety functions and validated PLC logic remain the responsibility of the original control system unless a project explicitly defines otherwise.
Define what someone needs to know or change before choosing technology.
Validate signals, imaging and physical installation where the system will operate.
Deliver the functions required by the task and leave room for justified growth.
Document the system, explain its logic and make normal maintenance possible.
Our values
Engineering principles expressed as practical behaviour.
Evidence before intervention
We measure the process before recommending automation, replacement or organisational change.
Useful over impressive
A smaller system that answers the real question is better than a platform full of unused functions.
Independent by design
Customers should understand their system, own their production data and avoid unnecessary dependence on a machine brand or software vendor.
Accountability across disciplines
Hardware, software and data are one delivered result. Problems are not passed between technical boundaries.
Safety and maintainability
Installations must respect machine safety, production continuity and the people expected to operate and maintain them.
Honest engineering communication
We separate measured results, engineering assumptions and solution concepts so decisions are made with the right level of certainty.
Environmental responsibility
Make existing production assets more useful before replacing them.
Modernising a working line can extend its service life and avoid unnecessary capital equipment replacement. Better process visibility can also reduce scrap, rework, energy per good unit and wasted material.
- Extend the useful life of existing equipment
- Measure waste and energy in production context
- Design repairable, replaceable hardware modules
- Use sustainability data that can be verified
Social responsibility
Engineering should support safer work and stronger technical communities.
We support responsible industry practices, inclusive collaboration and initiatives that make technical knowledge more accessible. The team contributes time and expertise to engineering education, local community activity and knowledge sharing where it can create practical value.
- Design with operator safety and usability in mind
- Respectful and inclusive working environment
- Knowledge transfer to customer teams
- Support for technical education and community initiatives
Stockholm · Sweden
An international team with its office in Stockholm.
Our engineers bring experience from different countries, industries and technical disciplines. The Stockholm office is our shared base for collaboration and project delivery, while we work with manufacturing organisations across borders. Delivery combines remote engineering with focused site work for discovery, installation, commissioning and production validation.
