ClariFab Independent Sensing

Instrument the process
around the PLC.

We add only the measurements your task requires. The machine keeps running on its existing control logic while an independent layer reveals what is actually happening.

See practical examples

You do not need a new control system to get better process evidence.

Laser sensors, encoders and environmental signals can be installed independently of the machine builder and PLC program. ClariFab timestamps and combines those measurements into one process record — without writing back into control logic.

Your line remains in control. We make its physical behaviour measurable.

01Define the question

Start with the decision, failure or unknown that matters.

→
02Select signals

Install the minimum useful set of independent measurements.

→
03Align in time

Connect every reading to product, position and cycle.

→
04Use the evidence

See drift, loss and abnormal behaviour without touching control.

Three signal families. Three production questions made visible.

01 / LASER & OPTICAL SENSORS

Is the material where the process assumes it is?

A laser profile can expose edge movement, thickness variation or part position continuously — not only when an end-of-line check fails.

  • Distance, position and runout
  • Thickness and profile variation
  • Presence, gap and edge tracking

02 / MOTOR & CONVEYOR ENCODERS

Did the product move at the speed the drive reported?

An independent encoder separates commanded motion from real mechanical travel. It reveals slip, stretch and synchronisation loss that control values alone cannot prove.

  • Actual speed and travelled distance
  • Belt slip and mechanical losses
  • Station-to-station synchronisation

03 / HALL, PRESSURE & TEMPERATURE SENSING

Which physical condition changed before the result did?

Cycle-aligned pressure, temperature and machine-state signals show how the process develops. Engineers can compare good and abnormal cycles and locate the first meaningful divergence.

  • Pressure build-up and stability
  • Temperature response and recovery
  • Machine state and cycle segmentation

Measure the problem — not every signal the machine can expose.

We begin with a concrete operational question, then choose only the sensing, sampling rate and context required to answer it. The result is a focused information layer that is easier to deploy, maintain and extend.

  • No dependency on machine-builder access
  • No change to PLC or safety logic
  • No payment for unused platform functions

Show us the process behaviour you cannot currently prove.

We will define the minimum sensor set, installation points and useful output for an independent measurement pilot.
